i am almost impressed by how boring and uninspired the new massive attack, heligoland, is. hope sandoval makes a surprising appearance on the album, which lifts it from absolutely garbage to mostly suckage.

wrote up a more detailed review here for anyone who cares to read. the music press seems to love it though, from everything i’ve read. i don’t know why though.
